Top 20 Thai Actress

In this blog post list, I'm going to list my favorite Thai actresses. Now, this list has only been create recently for this blog post purpose, I don't really like to write down the list because it seem to change as I discover new actresses or watches more and new lakorns. If you are not familiar with me, as most of you, I actually grew up watching Thai lakorns in Hmong dub before I started watching them with subtitles. I went on mydramalist.com to search up all the Thai actresses and made a list. I wrote everyone name down along with a ranking number from one to ten. From that list of names I chose my top twenty actresses. I am going to create another list dedicated to the older actresses who usually play the grandmother, mother, and/or supporting roles in Thai lakorns. This list contain actresses who played the main role in their lakorns.

1. Yaya Urassaya Sperbund

Yaya Urassaya Sperbund is half Thai and half Norwegian. She entered in the industry in 2008 but it wasn't until 2010 where she gained immense popularity and created a name for herself through the lakorn Duang Jai Akkanee as the fearless and daring Jeed. Her acting and pairing with co-star Barry Nadech Kugimiya captured so many fans across the country, now being one of the most popular koo kwans or koo jins of this generation. She finish her BA at Thailand's #1 university, Chulalongkorn University, while maintaining a 3.3 GPA. She models for national magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, Seventeen, Harper's Bazaar and Vogue. She also known as the 'Queen of Presenters' by having more endorsements than any other actresses in Thailand ever. In 2015, Yaya was seen in more than 30 commercials. She won the Best Actress award through her role as Jeerawat in the popular remake of Kleun Cheewit. She is the first Thai actress who received a title of Friends of Louis Vuitton and became the first Thai celebrity featured in US Vogue.

She is hands down one of my favorite Thai actress ever. I have seen at least 90 percent of her lakorns. Don't ask about the other 10 percent because I'll tell you that I don't have time or it wasn't interesting at all. I think and I know she is a very talented actress who have already achieve so much at a young age and I can't wait to see what she going to do later in her career. Here is some of the lakorns that I would recommend for anyone to watch: Duang Jai Akkanee (2010), Torranee Nee Krai Krong (2012), The Rising Sun: Roy Fun Tawan Duerd (2014), Kleun Cheewit (2017), Leh Lub Salub Rarng (2017) and The Crown Princess (2018).

2. Pok Piyathida Mittiraroch

Pok Piyathida Mittiraroch, previously known as Piyathida Woramusik, is a Thai actress, model and host. She is married to actor Napassakorn Mittiam

She is one of my favorite actress growing up. I still love her to this day but I haven't been watching a lot of her lakorns because some of them aren't lakorns that I personally would like to watch. She has play main leading roles along with supporting roles but I think she such a great actress and very talented too. One fact for sure is that she still look the same as before when I first watch some of the older lakorns that she acted in. My favorite lakorns of her is Duang Jai Kra Sip Rak and Game Gam Ma Thep which aired in 1998 and 1999. Some of the more current lakorns that you can find and watch right now that I would recommend are: Nang Tard (2008), Mae(Mia) Luang (2009) and Pan Ruk Pan Rai (2013). These recommendations are the ones that I have watch only and like. She currently play supporting roles in the more current lakorns but have some lakorns that she does play the main leading roles.

Tik Kanyarat Jiarachakij debuted in 1994 with guest roles and supporting roles before landing her first main leading role in 1996. The most current lakorn she was in aired in 2009.

I google search her name for more information but nothing came up therefore that is all I can give you but I can say she is another actress that I love watching. The very first lakorn of hers that I have seen was Poo Kong Yod Ruk (2002). I think the only lakorns of her that you can actually find and watch still on the internet is Yok Lai Mei (2009) which happens to be the last lakorn on her acting career list. I really wish for a comeback from her because she I really like her. It doesn't have to be a huge role, a guest role or a supporting role would be good.

Before she sign with Channel 5, I know her through many of the drama she had act in before. She mainly play the supporting roles therefore her characters wasn't a huge impact on me but through Suparburoot Jutathep series, I grew a hate for her character but love for her acting skills and talents. She is a beautiful actress and that is what caught my attention the very first time and was disappointed that she didn't play a main leading role before moving to Channel 5. Some of the lakorns I would recommend are: Leh Ratree 2015, Ngao Asoke (2016), The Ugly Duckling: Boys Paradise (2015), U Prince Series: The Handsome Cowboy (2016) and You're My Destiny (2016).

I only watch her debut drama because of two reasons: Ken Theeradath Wonpuapan and there is a scene where they spoke in Hmong; which is a huge scene for any Hmong lakorn viewers. After watching more of her lakorns, I came to the conclusion that I really like her as an actress. She is pretty and talented. Someone that I can see having a long career in this industry. Some of the lakorn I would recommend are: Sapai Jao (2015) and The Cupid Series: Kammathep Online (2017).

The very first lakorn I have seen her is Jone Plone Jai with Num Sornram Tappituk. I later rediscover her in Khun Nu Chantana with Tye Nattapol Leeyawanich. The reason why I say rediscover is because I don't really watch all the lakorn that she have act in.
