Top 20 Channel 3 Lakorns

Channel 3 is Thailand first commercial television station and started back in 1970. It's actually one of the first channel I started noticing on the lakorn that I was watching growing up.  I am going to be a little honest that I love the actors and actresses that are in Channel 3 and they are some of my favorites actors and actresses therefore there is a lot of lakorns on this list compare to Channel 7. I was planning on writing this in two parts because there is a lot of series in this blog but instead I think it better to see a whole entire list instead of two different blog post. Instead of starting at number 20, I am going to switch it around and starts at number 1 because I can go on and on about them all.

1. 4 Huajai Haeng Koon Kao (2010)

This is Channel 3's biggest project as a Channel 3's 40 years celebration. This series consisted of 4 separate but intertwining lakorns. It is based from a series of 4 books by the same name and uses the same casts for all 4 lakorns.

This is one of my favorite series ever and I think this is the series that started the series trend in Thailand because of the last couple of years the series game for lakorns has been going very strong and everyone seems to like it. I personally love it. This series also starred some of my favorite koojin couples and also some of my favorite actors and actresses.

Do I wish for a remake of this series? No. I think this series is very good already. Although it is 9 years old already, this series can't be remake at all because, the actors and actresses already play this series so well that a newer version isn't going to replace this series at all. I might want another version later in the future.

This lakorn is a really good lakorn. It's one of the lakorns that I go back and re-watch when I can't find anything to watch. I really like the pairing of this lakorn and think that they match each other very well. The other characters in this lakorn is amazing, they all play their parts extremely well. For a remake of this lakorn, I think we need to wait a really long time for a newer set of actors and actresses because the cast is amazing.

This is another favorite, I'm going to tell you that all of these are my favorites because I love them, hence they are on the list. But this is one of my favorite Janie's lakorn. This was during her peak in her career and I love this lakorn and pairing so much. I would not mind if there is remake of this lakorn because it's so good.

12. Tarm Ruk Keun Jai (2015)

Tarm Ruk Keun Jai starred Nadech Kugimiya as Nai Singh, Mew Nittha Jirayungyurn as Noo Na or Nara, Au Tanakorn Posayanon as Naram, Noo Na's father and Diana Flipo as Nong, Singh's younger sister. This is a remake of the original lakorn release in 1998 starring Au Tanakorn Posayanon playing as Nah Singh, hence the one of the reason why I stated Au and Diana here.

This story is about a young woman named Nara who is raised by her mother and grandfather and lives a luxury life in Bangkok. One day she realizes that her father is still alive and working in a farm in Northern Thailand. She immediately leaves Bangkok in order to find her father. At the farm, Nara applies for a job. While trying to get closer to her father, Nara also gets closer to the farm's owner Singh and their romantic relationship is gradually developing.

If you haven't figue anything out yet then I'll tell you that Nadech and Au are some of my favorite actors. So when I saw this lakorn, I was more in love with the fact that he gets to pair up with Mew because I don't think Yaya would fit Mew's character. (I love Yaya though.) What is more surprising is that Au play Singh in the original version, so to have someone play in the original version play a different character in the new version, or to be in the newer version is already amazing. The story was very nice and each character in the drama play the part to the point.

13. Samee (2013)

Samee is a remake of the same title, as you can tell listed above on this list. This version is release in 2013 starring Great Warintorn Panhakarn as Rab Lin Watanatawornkul and Pream Ranida as Rasika Prakakiat or Khun Ying Ai. (You can skip the summary portion if you want because the summary is very similar to the one above, although they do have slightly a difference.)

This lakorn is about honor and pride. Mom Ratchawong Rasika Prakardkiat is a royalty descendany. She was taught by her father that pedigree is the most important thing in life. Her mother remarried a new mergent walthy Chinese businessman, Jao Sua, to pay off the family debt after her father's death. Due to Khun Ying Ai's social prejudice and her father's deather, she refused to accept this marriage as well as associate herself with a Chinese family for she deem them as unworthy to be a part of her royal bloodline. Impressed and outraged by Khun Ying Ai's arrogant, strong will and with a desire to protect her and his youngest son, Ram. However, his oldest son, Rarp, wants to marry Khun Ying Ai instead.

I was excited for this version because I love Pream and Great together as a pairing and secondly, I love the previous version so I couldn't wait. As I was watching this version, a lot of things surprise me because the characters in this version story line was a little bit different which I didn't mind at all. The two version I have seen are the same yet different and I would recommend anyone to watch both versions because they both have their own good and bad too. You could be wondering why I didn't put the previous one and this one together, right? Because I don't think this one live up to the previous one and also I didn't think of putting them together.

I was torn before I started watching this lakorn. I have never seen the previous two version at all therefore I didn't want to watch this lakorn at all but then Yaya is the main lead so I watch it. I was disappointed because I didn't want James to play the main lead in the lakorn but as we got started, I didn't mind the pairing at all but it was because they both play their parts very well. I wasn't disappointed as I thought I would be at all. I actually really like this lakorn.

I love the original version so much that I was so excited for the new version. I actually didn't even know that it was a remake because of the name change until I was reading the summary of the newer version after it already aired. I was not very fond of the pairing because I don't personally think that James and Kimberly match each other, but I was not disappointed with this version at all. I put these two version together unlike, Samee, because I like them both equally. The new version live up to my expectation and the older version was already a fave. The only thing with the new version is that the story line of some of the character isn't the same as the original version. For example, in the new version, Anusaya's father is sick and the reason why she was force to married Sattawat is because her father didn't want Chayakorn near her anymore after he found out that Chayakorn love Anusaya. Also Somika's father doesn't die in the newer version. I think it personally safe to say that you must watch both version because they both are amazing.

These drama is amazing and funny. I laugh so many times and every single time I watch those scenes, it get better and better. Again, I love Nadech and Yaya together therefore, they drama was already a win-win for me. Even if you aren't a Nadech or Yaya fan, the fact that this lakorn is about swapping bodies between a female and male is already fun to watch.

This one took a very long time to find subtitles and I wasn't disappointed to wait. I am not the type to watch mafia and fighting lakorns and movies at all. The only reason why I watched this lakorn was because of the actors and actresses. I wasn't disappointed at all. There were parts and I love and parts that I hated but overall the story completes itself and each other gets better and more interesting as you continue to watch.

This is the very first Yaya lakorn for me and I already love Rome, so this drama was amazing. Although Yaya acting seems a little awkward sometimes, I really like the story line and lakorn. The actress who play Yaya's sister in the drama is amazing. I love her and I think she a wonderful and excellent actress which made my hate her character in the lakorn so much. I think the story can get boring after awhile, but the characters made this lakorn amazing.

I recently just finish watching this lakorn although its been out for at least two years, three at this point. I really like Diana. I was already a fan of hers through the previous drama on this list with Mew and Nadech so I wasn't disappointed at all because this is her very first lead role and I was super excited. Pope is an amazing actor but watching these two pair up was really nice. The story was really good. I thought it was going to be super long and the characters were going to be annoy but it turn out the characters help this lakorn progress.

There you have it. My top twenty lakorns release under Channel 3. There is a lot of lakorns that I love release under Channel 3 and its hard to pick any favorites as you can see but I'll be back with another one soon. Let me know some of your favorites or your own thoughts about the lakorns on this list. Anyone that you would recommend me to watch or others to watch.
