[Challenge] 30 Day Asian Drama Day 5

Day 5 - Which Asian drama made you cry.

I don't recall any Asian dramas that made me cry, no cross that out, there is one that I could think of and that would be the Korean drama, 'Sad Love Story'. I mean is obvious if you seen the drama already, but the title gives it away too. Also another one would be Autumn In My Heart, I mean the ending is super sad, I cry every time, I see Moon Geun Young, who play the main lead when she was young, her all the time. Now, there is more coming into my head, but since it like eleven pm when I am writing this, I am going to head to sleep. I hope I would dream more about the other dramas that made me cry, or even the tomorrow challenge too.

I don't think I have ever think there is a drama that is the worst ever. Majority of the time, I either end up liking or disliking it, never name it the worst ever. But since I have to for this, I think I am going to have to say...

Day 1: When did you start watching Asian dramas?

I started watching Asian drama ever since I was little, just I didn't know what it was that all. Since my parents love watching Asian movies and drama, I always watch with them and we also have some of those movies where they were sub into different language, but ours was Hmong. 

For Korean dramas and movies, I started watching it back in middle school since I became obsesses with SNSD. For Taiwanese and Chinese drama/movie I started watching in 5th grade, since I fell upon the love of Fahrenheit and SHE. For Thai drama, I have watch since I was little, so I could say around 4 grade at least that when I started becoming in love and finding it every where to watch some lakorns. 

I hardly watch any Japanese drama at all, but my very first one was the summer of 2012. I borrow one of my friend movie and watch it. I have a review on that Japanese movie on my KPOP blog.

Day 19: Your favorite Drama genre?


My favorite genre of drama really depend. I love romance that for sure. I mean if the drama is not romance I tend not to watch it at all. For Korean drama, I tend not to watch the dramas where they are in there traditional clothes or back in the days at all. Unless if it a really popular one only but even though I still don't at all. But I love to watch Thai Boron Lakorn which are the dramas that are film back in the days with them wearing traditional clothes. I am really weird. There is one thing I don't watch at all and it is horror. I hate it. Or supernatural. I mean some of the drama I have seen have supernatural themes in it but those are the one that I really love now that why I watched them or if only it a little bit only.

I dropped a lot of drama, basically because I don't really like it. That would be all, but thinking back to it now, I think it hard to even remember them. HAHA! So I don't really know how to answer this question at all.

The very first drama I remember seeing at a young age was this loving Thai drama called Bansaithong. This was the 2000 version. This was a favorite of mine and I think it will be forever. I would also love to see newer version of this series too, since a remake sometimes sounds bad but sometimes good too.

Talia Joy Castellano, from 1999 to 2013, we lost an amazing girl. 

[Review] Khun Chai Ronapee

Khun Chai Ronapee, the youngest of the brothers and he share the same mother as Khun Chai Tharatorn, the oldest brother. Khun Chai Ronapee is a pilot of the Royal Air Force. One day his best friend's fiance came to tell him that his friend name Yot is seeing another woman, who happens to be the dara actress Pleingkwan. Who could believe that this noble pilot will meet a female celebrity? It was all like a dream! She fell into his arm during an accident on a film set. He tells her to break off her relationship with his friend Yot. During that time, Khun Chai Ronapee heard some rumors areound saying that Pliengkwan became an overnight rising star because she slept with the director Sia (meaning rich man) so Khun Chai Ronapee automatically believes that he can win a date with her, but of course he didn't. He then lie to her and her family saying that he is a farmer from Piji. He disguised himself as a farmer from Piji to test Pliengkwan, to see if she will love him as another common pilot man, not because he is Mom Luang Khun Chai Ronapee, a noble person who lives in a palace. These two will break traditions, and go through the barrier of noblility to prove there love to the people around them that although she is a dancer and actress, that her love for him is not because of his status nor his nobility bloodline at all. 

[Review] Khun Chai Rachanon

Khun Chai Rachanon is the fourth brother of the series and is a young engineer that believes in controlling his own destiny. He has the same mother as Khun Chai Puttipat, the third brother. When he went to Isaan to oversees a construction, he met a female forest dweller. Their love proceeds in the midst of prejudice, jealously, and envy from the people around them. But in the end, this forest dweller is actually the princess of the neighboring country and Khun Chai Rachanon plays an important in his love's, the princess to return to her rightful throne.

[Review] Khun Chai Puttipat

Khun Chai Puttipat is a young doctor with his love without any distinction. His mother was the daughter of a rich Chinese merchant. The handsome doctor must forget all the rules that he had followed his entire life when he met a commoner woman who holds the title of "Miss Sri Siam." He uses his own heart and decides to rescue her from becoming a powerful General's concubine. Thus, it was led to a fake marriage where the two will hide their hearts simply because neither understands the feelings. But in the end, this young noble will discover that this commoner girl is more precious than any diamonds and gems in the world.

[Review] Khun Chai Pawornruj

Khun Chai Pawornruj is a young government employee working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a bright future and love that one could dream of. He is the second eldest that escaped his fate of marrying a royal woman only because his mother was a concubine in the palace. As luck would have it, he meets his true love while traveling to Switzerland for work. A midst their romance, the couple will endure a blizzard on top of a mountain and other emotional storms from reality. 

[Review] Khun Chai Tharatorn

Khun Chai Tharatorn is a cautious archaeologist dealing with love that he must choose. He is the eldest that looks after his brothers after their parents passes away. He has the pressure of his promise fiance from another family on his shoulders. He is very focused when it comes to studying historic sites, yet not knowing that this time he will also discover his own heart too. This is a story between two people who has fond feelings for one another ever since they were children. Love will appear in the middle of an antiques robbery in which it was when those two get a chance to prove their heart.

I will review this part of the series for you guys since I have already have finish this part a long time ago.
